The causes to the High TDS are listed in the timeframe that you've owned your RO system. The grey background applies to systems in use for under 3 months and the white background applies to systems in use for more than 3 months |

Solution

1
Feed water blocked
Make sure all lines to the RO system and within the RO head are not obstructed. Low water pressure result in slightly higher tds than good water pressure.
Untangles the lines and make sure all valves are fully turned on.

2
Wrong membrane direction |
3
Forgot to insert membrane |
Normally without the membrane, the RO water's ppm is equivalent to the Tap water's ppm. |
4
Defective Membrane
(Extremely Rare) |
5
Clogged pre-filters
Clogged pre-filters inadvently lowers the water pressure. Thus cause the tds to escalate. |

6
Depleted Membrane
