This high-quality icemaker kit will provide you with clear and sparkling ice cubes and drinking water at your refrigerator by routing purified water from your existing reverse osmosis system. You will never have to spend money on small, ineffective and expensive refrigerator filters ever again.
This icemaker kit includes everything you will need to quickly and easily connect your refrigerator and 3/8" quick dispense reverse osmosis system. It includes one 3/8" X 3/8" X 1/4" JG quick-connect "Tee" reducer fitting, one JG quick-connect shut off ball valve and 20 feet of JG ¼" food-grade poly tubing. The "Tee" fitting diverts the RO purified water between the fridge and RO faucet giving access to both outlets. The ball valve can be used to shut off water flow to the fridge.

Save your moneyWhile the high flow rate RO unit I got from APEC is awesome, save your money on this add-on I bought from them. For the high flow ice makers need, use the money instead to get yourself the needed length of 3/8” pressure rated tubing so you can reduce to the 1/4” fridge connection as close to the fridge as possible to maintain flow rate. You’ll also want to bypass the fridge filter because this will further reduce flow and pressure thereby possibly making the ice maker not work correctly.

Does what it saysI got an old fridge second hand and bought this ice maker kit to connect my Apec water system. I wasn’t sure what size or what I would need, so I got the kit hoping it would have everything. Turned out I had to go buy a few different parts. The company delivered exactly what they said they would but it would have been nice to have some kind of assistance in knowing sizes and fittings etc.
