The WTS-CALCITE-15 Whole House Calcite pH Neutralizing System uses naturally occurring calcium carbonate media to correct pH to reach a non-corrosive equilibrium. Upon contact with its media, acidic waters slowly dissolve the calcium carbonate to raise the pH, which reduces the pipe corrosion potential of leaching of copper, lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems. Indications of acidic water include blue/green staining around kitchen or bath fixtures, discoloration in washing or corrosion to any household plumbing and appliances.
Designed specifically for whole house filtration, this system is capable of handling water with a pH ranging from 5.0 – 7.0. This is the most effective and chemical-free way to naturally raise the pH of water and protect against pipe corrosion leaching unhealthy levels of lead and metals into water. The WTS-CALICTE-15 can be easily installed onto any standard home plumbing system and is fully automated to provide a maintenance-free user friendly experience.
