A hernia is the protrusion of an organ through the wall of the cavity that it is contained within. This condition will occur when the pressure in the compartment of the residing organ is increased, and the boundary is weak or weakened. There are many factors that can cause this weakening of the containing membrane including hereditary, age, illness, pregnancy, and weight gain. Most hernias occur within the abdominal cavity and any condition that can increase the pressure in this area can contribute to the formation of a hernia. Therefore it is important to protect the body from harmful contaminants that can cause a severe reaction to the body and add stress or pressure to the internal organs. One of the best ways to limit contaminant exposure is through the use of a water filtration system.

Polluted water can contain a host of toxins including chemicals, heavy metals, and microbes. Many of these contaminants can cause allergic reactions and swell placing the body into an unnatural defensive situation. Some examples of corrosive chemicals include chlorine and chloramines which are abrasive and toxic in higher concentrations. Even at the low levels used by municipal water companies, these additives are often the culprits of allergic reactions and minor health irritations for many people across the United States.

Heavy metals are another health concern frequently found in our water supply. These pollutants can range from benign minerals to toxic lead, to radioactive radium. Long-term exposure to some heavy metals can lead to abnormal growth inside the body which can cause a hernia to develop. However, it is their potential to create malignant tumors that make these contaminants truly frightening. Water should always be filtered to remove any traces of heavy metals before it can be consumed by people.

Drinking plenty of clean purified water is one of the best ways to maintain and improve your overall health. Quality water will give your body the ability to heal itself naturally and recover from many health problems and conditions. On the other hand, contaminated water can not only hamper your recovery efforts, but it can also make your condition even worse. To protect yourself and your family from contamination, consider installing a water filtration system that will remove harmful chemicals and heavy metals.
