What is the Difference Between RO-PERM and RO-PUMP?

RO-PERM uses a non-electrical permeate pump to boost pressure (after filtration) and it’s designed to allow the RO tank to fill fuller so water output will be stronger. This system requires a minimum incoming water pressure of 30 psi or higher to operate properly.

RO-PUMP, on the other hand, uses an electrical booster pump to increase incoming water pressure to the RO system. This is the recommended system if your incoming water pressure is between 0-30psi or if your supply water TDS (total dissolve solid) level is higher than normal.
