All our tanks are made of High-density linear polyethylene (HDLPE) and 1.9 specific gravity (designed to hold substances more than two times heavier than water). HDLPE is the most suitable resin for storing a wide range of liquids and chemicals. Distinct advantages over stainless steel and fiberglass include broader range of chemical resistance, UV stabilized for better weatherability, exceptional impact resistance, little maintenance requirement, lower cost, and more. These rotationally molded polyethylene tanks feature seamless, single piece construction which allows easy cleaning and leakproof service, and therefore long lasting and gives you the best value.

The HDLPE resin used in Snyder's tanks meet FDA regulation 177.1520 and complies with NSF standard 61. They are durable under most harsh weather conditions. What's so special about these tanks is that their application is not limited to storing water, but they can be used to store fertilizer or even corrosives such as sulfuric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric acids. Chemical resistance is no doubt the most important factor in determining tank performance.
