Misleading website
In the about APEC - there is this statement - "We are one of the last manufacturers whose membranes and primary filters are all manufactured in the United States."I found it odd that the product page doesn't list where things are made so I called them. The lady on the phone said that the system is assembled in the US, but that the filters are MADE IN CHINA. They should be more transparent about this, especially when they have the above statement on their website.

Best water filter I’ve ever owned!!
Easy setup with simple instructions! Did not need to call a plumber for the installation. Best filtered drinking water I’ve tasted by far. PH reading between 8.0 - 9.0. Very happy with the purchase and the quantity/quality drinking water we have each day.
System pump creates a minimal volume noise only when the faucet is turned on. Other than that, the system is completely quiet!
Highly recommend this product if you want clean alkaline drinking water that is re-mineralized.
