| APEC high capacity pre-filter set is made in USA with high quality filtration components to provide a longer lasting filter set to protect and prolong the lifespan of your commercial reverse osmosis system. Premium quality filter set lasts 2X as long as the standard filter for fewer filter change outs and high performance contaminant removal. The filters are 20 Inch and compatible for APEC Lite Commercial Reverse Osmosis systems or other standard sized water filters. 1st Stage: High-Grade Sediment Depth filter - 5 micron 20 Inch high-capacity polypropylene filter -removes dust, particles, and rust. 100% pure polypropylene depth filter with exceptional dirt-holding capacity translates to longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters. 2nd and 3rd Stage: Premium Extruded Carbon Block filter - 20 Inch extruded activated carbon filter removes unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common chemicals from the water. Extruded carbon consists of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. The extreme uniformity of their extruded carbon core eliminates channeling and bypass, common with granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. Compatible with APEC Premium Commercial Grade Reverse Osmosis systems and most other standard size commercial reverse osmosis and water filter systems.
