Advanced Water Filtration Versatility, Compatibility and Performance

The APEC BIG TRIO 3-stage whole house filter housing set uses three (3) adjoining 20" Big Blue housings to offer multi-stage whole house water filtration versatility and efficiency. Multiple housings allow this unit to utilize three distinctly different specialty filters to address a wider range of contaminants found in different water sources. This is often not possible when using just a single whole house filter.

Having problems with sediment, chlorine and iron in your water? No problem, just install the 20" sediment, carbon and iron specialty cartridges in the BIG TRIO unit. In fact, this customizable housing set works with all industry standard filters within the size of 20" length X 4.5" diameter, making it one of the most adaptable and affordable multi-stage whole house filtration systems on the market.

The BIG TRIO housing sets are extremely durable and can withstand a wide range of chemicals in the water as well as large fluctuations in water pressure. The polypropylene (HFPP) cap has 1" FPT inlet and outlet ports for high-flow rate and the 1.25" internal port allows a greater volume of liquid to pass through the HFPP cap more rapidly.

Note: The BIG TRIO housing setis usually placed in the main water line entering the home. While installation is fairly simple, it is our recommendation to have it installed by a licensed plumber.

This advanced system is usually placed in the main water line entering the home and generally have capacities to filter up to 100,000 gallons of water before you have to change the cartridge.
