APEC’s Chlorine Removal & Anti-Scale Hybrid water filter cartridge treats many common water concerns. This two-in-one hybrid filter cartridge is made from a unique blend of polyphosphate and activated carbon media to effectively control scale and corrosion and remove chlorine. Select granular coconut shell activated carbon is used to remove organic contaminants and chlorine. Then food-grade polyphosphate clear bead media is added to reduce scale buildup by applying a self-healing coating to water pipes and appliances to prevent further development of scale and corrosion.

The FI-SCALECAB20-BB filter will fit in our 20" Big Blue housings and it can treat up to 12,000 gallons of water.
