The causes to the High TDS are listed in the timeframe that you've owned your RO system. The grey background applies to systems in use for under 3 months and the white background applies to systems in use for more than 3 months.

The causes are listed from the most frequent and probable to the least likeliest.

Causes
Identify
1

Feed water blocked

and

Low input pressure

Make sure all lines to the RO system and within the RO head are not obstructed. Low water results in slightly higher tds

Untangles the lines and make sure all the feed valves are fully turned on.

2
Wrong membrane direction
3

Forgot to insert membrane

TDS test

Normally without the membrane, the RO water's ppm is equivalent to the Tap water's ppm.

4
Defective Membrane

(Extremely Rare)

5
Clogged pre-filters

Flow rate test

Clogged pre-filters inadvently lowers the water pressure. Thus cause the tds to escalate.

6
Depleted Membrane
7
ASO Clogged
8
Check valve clogged
9

Tank bladder ruptured

Water droplets coming out from the tank's pressure valve. Furthermore, a raptured tank tends to very heavy compare to a regular full tank.
