The APEC CT-2000 is a free-standing ceramic countertop filter that can be attached onto your existing faucet via a diverter valve. This 3-stage ceramic filter combines the anti-microbial properties of ceramic with the enhanced properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media to remove tastes and odors in addition to particles, bacteria, cysts, chlorine, organics and lead. This system allows filtered or unfiltered water to be drawn from the existing faucet at the press of a button.
The CT-2000 is designed for durability and portability. Its compact size and superior performance makes it the perfect choice for apartments, boats, and travel. In addition, all APEC CT-2000 ceramic systems are built right here in the U.S. with NSF certified housings and quality Doulton ceramic filter cartridges.
Doulton 3-Stage Water Filtration Process
- reduces particulate matter, bacteria, cysts, and turbidity (stage 1 - Sterasyl ceramic ),
- removes chlorine, bad tastes and odors, and organic compounds (stage 2 - activated carbon block),
- and reduces lead and other heavy metals (stage 3 - ion exchange resin).
