Under-Eye Circles and Drinking Water

Under-eye circles can be hereditary to some point and can also be due to lack of sleep, allergies, sinus infections, too much alcohol, kidney problems, not enough drinking water, or too much salt. Some people may have circles without darkness and others have just dark circles without being puffy. Drinking plenty of purified water during the day may perhaps be the key to keeping all of the cells hydrated as these cells need steady hydration. Even though moisturizers are useful in keeping skin from drying out, nothing can take the place of drinking seven to eight glasses of water daily.

Circles under the eyes seem to appear during aging. This is because of damage over the years to the capillaries under the eyes. The skin, just below the eyes is known to be a little thinner than on the face. Therefore, the capillaries don’t move the fluids as well as in other parts of the body. This excess bag of fluid can be reduced dramatically when drinking plenty of clean water every day.

Drinking more water may increase the efficiency of your blood flow which can help carry toxins out of the body. This would support the transport of toxins through the kidneys and liver, preventing them from traveling to cells all over the body. Drinking water also helps the body flush waste from individual cells, keeping them in good health. Avoiding things like coffee, alcohol or excessive amounts of salt and sodium intake is a good idea because these substances can make total body hydration more difficult to obtain. Knowing that circles underneath the eyes may be caused by toxins, people should avoid drinking regular tap water. Tap water can contain many chemical and heavy metal toxins that can have a negative effect on your overall health. To avoid ingesting and absorbing toxins that may have an effect on your eye circles, it would be advisable to drink and bathe in water that has been filtered by a quality water filtration system.

To maintain good eye health and aesthetics, get lots of sleep and avoid polluted water. Drinking plenty of clean water is one of the best solutions for people who want to improve their overall health and appearance.
