How to Choose the Right Reverse Osmosis Model?

Choosing the right RO model depends on your incoming water pressure. If you are using city water, RO-45 and RO-90 are the suggested models. If you are using well water, RO-PERM and RO-PUMP are the suggested models.

Please see below for each individual model’s information:

RO-45 & RO-90 models:

  • Water pressure: Works best with 40psi pressure or higher.
  • Output rate: The RO-45 makes approximately 36 – 45 Gallons per day. The RO-90 makes approximately 75 – 90 gallons per day.
  • Installation location: Can be installed in the kitchen or remotely in the basement
  • Ideal users: City and Municipal Water. RO-45 for a family of 1-6 people and RO-90 is for a family of 6-10 people.
  • Upgrade Options: UV Light, 14 gallon tank, See-through housing and Designer Faucet.

RO-PERM model:

  • Water pressure: Works well with low pressure of 30psi or above (for private well pump cycle at 30-50psi or higher). Can be used even if water pressure is high (60-80psi)
  • Installation location: Can be installed in the kitchen or remotely in the basement, or garage.  The permeate pump will help deliver the water to remote output points. This model fills up the tank faster and fuller (boosted performance) even if the water pressure is on the high end of 60-80psi.
  • Permeate pump benefits: Refills the tank faster and fuller.
  • Output rate: The RO-Perm makes approximately 45 – 90 gallons per day.
  • Ideal Users: Private well or city water customers who wants upgraded performance.
  • Upgrade Options: UV Light, 14 gallon tank, See-through housing and Designer Faucet
