Features of the Fleck5600 SE Meter Control Valve
Key to the exceptional quality and performance of this automatic demand water softener is the microprocessor-based control. This programmable control meter measures water consumption using a turbine that turns as your water is used. The electronic sensor on the control meter can detect the rate of turbine spin and sends a signal back to the control meter. This demand water softener only cycle or regenerate based on your water usage, it is far more efficient than the old fashion “Clock Timer” water softener that cycle or regenerate even when you use little or no water. No need to manually initiate the backwash and rinse function, and the use of electricity is negligible. |

gallons of water daily. For example, if your water hardness is rated 10 grains
per gallon, you will need to remove 3000 grains per day (300 gallons x 10 grains).
