This
premium Big Clear filter housing offers the versatility to
meet all of your large capacity filtration needs, including
high-flow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large
20" housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing
the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications.
These units are constructed of durable reinforced polypropylene
and Lexan to provide an innovative see-through clear housing
design. This allows you to easily monitor your filter's condition
by looking at the color and speed of contaminant buildup without
opening the housing.
The
high-flow polypropylene (HFPP) cap has 1" FPT inlet and
outlet ports. The 1-1/4" internal port allows a greater
volume of liquid to pass through the HFPP cap more rapidly.
Big
Clear housings can withstand a broad range of chemicals in
the water. They can also withstand a wide range of variation
in water pressure and are equipped with pressure-relief buttons
for ease of filter change. They are designed to industry standard
dimensions to house a wide variety of 4-1/2" diameter
x 20" length cartridges for different applications.
Note:
These inline water filters are usually placed in the main
water line entering the home. Installation is fairly simple,
it is best installed by a licensed plumber.

What are these used for:
Our 20"
whole house water filters remove chlorine and other chemical
tastes/odors plus dirt/sediments, making water cleaner,
clearer, and safer for your whole house. In addition, they
also protect your appliances, fixtures and pipelines.
These premium whole house inline filters are usually placed
in the main water line entering the home and generally have
capacities to filter 10,000 - 100,000 gallons of water before
you have to change the cartridge.
We offer whole house water filter housings and filter
cartridges that you can mix and match yourself. You can
even connect 2 housings in series to form a unique system
designed for your situation. For example, first stage is
sediment filtration, then followed by a carbon or iron removal
filter in the second housing as a second stage filtration.
